I decided to run for Texas House because I was tired of seeing the incumbents run unopposed. After trying unsuccessfully to get someone to run, I decided to put my name in the proverbial hat. I am not a politician. I am a business owner of almost 20 years and as such, I will bring that knowledge to the TX House.

My husband David and I (AKA Ms. Bonnie & Mr. David) have been active in the community for over 30 years. After working in the hospitality industry, we took a leap of faith and started our own business, North Dallas Martial Arts. Years later, we bought and gutted a house on Lake Palestine and turned it into a short term vacation rental, Paradise on Palestine. We have volunteered in the local schools and scouts even long after our boys graduated. During the summer, I teach swim lessons to all ages.
